My name is Maxine Fielding and I am an animal lover: I love everything with a heartbeat.

For as long as I can remember I always aspired to be, and to look after an Afghan Hound.

After moving to Australia in 2019 with my lurcher Vinyl I signed up to every Afghan Hound rescue organisation I could find. On the day my husband got his permanent residency my darling girl Blondie came up for adoption... it was love at first sight.

Blondie moved in with us in 2021 and started living her very best life. It would fair to say that in addition to my horse Danny and my husband Olly she has been the greatest love of my life.

In 2025, I opened LOVEDOG in her honour, wanting to improve the lives of all the dogs and their owners with beautiful, meaningful products that are a testament to the space these hounds have in our lives.

From the moment LOVEDOG opened its doors in spring 2025 we have been blessed to welcome dog lovers, owners, keepers.

Dogs large and small, young and old, bought or rescued.

Every moment anyone walks into our boutique, every animal and human is greeted identically: WELCOME TO LOVEDOG
